Visited here last week in a Pa28, ATC very busy, Cafe in terminal very good, Pa28 Landing fee £ 38.40...

Probably the closest airfield to Central London. Its a Nice little Airfield. Runway can be soft when its rained for a few days. Check Notams. Cafe now open everyday normally 09:00 to 16:00. PPR but you can just fly in non PPR. Airfield usable from dawn to dusk.
