Lannion Airport (LFRO)

We stopped at LFRO for three days. Landing fee for a Mooney M20J was 10,80€ and parking for the approximately 3 days 44,22€. Fuel is available with Total Card 24/7 or by credit card during operating hours.
Weather can be shaky in Brittany, so we went in an out IFR which was nice and easy with "Landi Approach".
When using the airport outside of the operating hours, you need a code for the doors and that code is labeled to the back of a cover at the door leading out from the airside.
In the short final of runway 29 there is a large E.Leclerc supermarket (10 Minutes walking distance) and they also rent cars. Unfortunately we were not able to reserve a car through their very weird online service and once we presented ourselves at the service desk no car was available. At the southwest corner of the airport (another 10 Minutes walking...) is a Europcar office. We rented a car there but only after waiting for two hours for the Europcar staff to arrive - despite having regular office hours at the time!
Lannion and the coastline are stunningly beautiful.
Belle Ile Airport (LFEA)

We have been to LFEA for 5 days. Beautiful destination and very friendly people at the airfield. We paid 11€ landing fee for a Mooney M20J and 5,6€ per day of parking. Avgas 100LL was 2.98€ per litre, we could pay everything by credit card.
The ground transportation is an issue. Taxis are not available on short notice and in the „middle season“ the buses don‘t run very often.
Don‘t be intimidated by the runnway length. We parked next to a TBM940. Runway is in excellent condition and with some headwind we didn‘t use much more that half of it on landing and takeoff.
We stayed in the mentioned „Le Cardinal“, which was fine in the mild September climate but beware there is no air conditioning and on hot summer days that might be an issue.
Don‘t miss the „Plage de Donnant“, nicely reachable by a rented e-bike.
