Landed there in July 2026. Bumpy 500 m gras runway. Runway 03 with an upslope. Be prepare. No fuel.
Really friendly and nice people at the field. Really uncomplicated with the new established "Fliegen ohne Betriebsleiter" (former mandatory flight operation manager in Germany) procedure. PPR is mandatory. PPR request via website with automatic answer. Approach and departure during VFR hours on your own with blind calls. Bikes for rent (15,- EUR/day). Landing fee 10,- EUR for any aircraft. Overnight parking is 10,- EUR per night.
There is a honesty box at the tiny tower where you deposit your fees and bike rental fee. The automatic PPR reply contains the code to open the garage for the rental bikes (help yourself).
Don't forget to submit your landing and departure time online using the QR code printed at the tower.
10 minute walk to the sandy beaches, restaurants and pubs. There is a bus station at beach where buses are leaving for Timmendorfer Strand if you don't want to go by bike.

Loved the really uncomplicated airfield (for German airfields) procedure. Will come back.
