Oostende Brugge / Oostende Airport (EBOS)

Visited EBOS in March 2026. AVGAS-powered aircraft are definitely welcome. I did not try refuelling AVGAS, but it might require prior notice. A noise certificate is required and can be emailed to info@nsac.aero. There is conflicting information about the need for PPR - I submitted a request here: https://ebos.amsy.aero/pilots_registration and received an instant confirmation email with a link.

The General Declaration must be submitted online to the police: https://www.police.be/bordercontrol/en/general-declaration. A similar declaration must also be sent to the customs email: da.luchthaven.oostende@minfin.fed.be. According to this document: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16iKF9rMwxopFcjxltIHmhD4BIFSZNKIM/view, it can be the same form, but before I noticed that, I submitted the form available on the EBOS website: https://www.ostendebruges-aeroport.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/GEN-DEC.pdf.

All of this must be done both on arrival from abroad and on departure. Obiously, a visit from the UK also requires submitting an sGAR.

As far as I understand, there is a significant handling charge for crossing the NSAC terminal door after 20:00 or before 08:00 (local) - the time of landing or take-off does not matter.

I paid €95.28 for <2 MTOW, 2 POB, 23+ h parking. There was no itemised bill, so I am not sure what contributed to the price, but this is the most expensive airfield for a stop right across the Channel that I have visited so far. Nevertheless, the airport is very nice and Oostende has plenty of attractions, hotels, and good food, so I will definitely visit again, but I might look elsewhere for a quick border / refuelling stop.

Are you sure?
