Perfect spot for a stay in Budapest. The airfield appears to be a decommissioned military airport, but there are flight schools and private hangar facilities. Arrival with a flight plan was straightforward. Check the approach charts on the website and note that half of the concrete runway is closed. On approach to RWY 14, plan for a Long Landing, because only Taxiway A at the RWY 32 threshold is open. The taxiway is somewhat worn, so use caution while taxiing. A taxi to Budapest can be easily booked via Bolt.

Landing with a C172 without PPR, flight plan filed via Austro Control, no issues. I only dropped off passengers and then continued. Very friendly staff—please observe the high-visibility vest requirement! GA counter is in the main terminal, rather far from the GA apron.
