Public transport to central Paris takes about one hour; taxi transfer to the city center is around 30 minutes and about €40. The airport layout appears complex but is manageable for first-time visitors. IFR arrivals use standard RNAV procedures with radar vectors from Charles de Gaulle Approach; charts can be detailed, and clear understanding of RNAV arrivals is important. Departures may require specifying the exact RNAV departure route in advance.
