Fairly welcoming aerodrome, with well-designed code systems allowing self-service access/egress when the field is unattended. Hotels within walking distance nearby. The arrangements for transient aircraft parking are somewhat puzzling: the spots are marked only by a simple yellow dot, and whenever the AFIS officer is present they ask that the aircraft be parked rather in the corners of the apron so as not to obstruct passage.

Long runway with RNP approaches. Refueling available via AirBP card for both avgas and JetA1; outside AFIS hours, local pilots or the aeroclub may need to activate the pump. No gastronomy currently reported. Example: landing fee about €10. Taxi to Valenciennes costs about €20. Multiple hotels are within walking distance, with Novotel recommended.
