Also needed a fuel stop. Large airfield, very quiet.
Refueling at the pump with a BP card is possible.
Refueling, including paying all fees, in under 30 minutes. Landing fee approx. 30 EUR.

CAUTION: The region to the north is affected by continuous, severe GPS jamming. Our 2 h IFR flight inbound from Tallinn had about 70 minutes with no GPS reception at all (not a single satellite). Be prepared.

VFR flights to EPSY require a flight plan when arriving at this controlled airport, and OPS requests a 12-hour advance notice via handling@mazuryairport.pl. IFR approaches are available with ILS and RNAV procedures. The airport is generally quiet and underutilized, with little GA focus but functional for technical stops and regional access.

Avgas and Jet A1 are available at a fixed fuel station on the west side of the runway; fueling can be slow, sometimes taking up to an hour due to procedural steps. Payment for fuel and fees is possible by Air BP or standard credit card. Ground handling is straightforward, with staff guiding parking and providing bus transport from the GA parking area. Personnel are consistently described as friendly and helpful.

Landing and handling fees are moderate, with examples ranging from about €35 to €50 for short stops; one example for two days' parking is about €40. Example: landing/handling about €40. Parking is adjacent to the fuel station on the west side near Taxiway R.

Rental cars are available through providers such as carfree.pl, Avis, or Hertz, but should be reserved at least 12 hours in advance. The drive to Olsztyn takes about one hour. Train service is infrequent, running only when airline flights are scheduled or as little as once every five hours.

Customs clearance is convenient but requires advance notification so officers can arrive from 60 km away. The terminal is modern but may lack catering options when no airline flights operate.

EPSY offers reliable technical stops and access to the Mazury region, though ground transport options are limited outside scheduled airline times. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
