Civil Airfield Bagicz (EPKG)

EPKG is a small, functional airfield located directly by the Baltic Sea, with a concrete runway in generally good condition and a short walk of 900 meters or less to a white sand beach. PPR is required but easily arranged by phone, with English spoken and online payment available; procedures are straightforward, and there is typically no radio operator—pilots make blind calls. The landing fee is 100 PLN (about €25), with no extra charge for PPR; parking may be included or charged separately depending on duration. Example: landing and parking about €30–€40 for up to three days. Some find the fees high given the minimal infrastructure, which includes a small café but no hangars or significant facilities.

Fuel availability varies: 96 Mogas is sometimes offered from a drum, and Avgas may be available from a self-service truck with card terminal (instructions in Polish). No maintenance or hangarage is provided. Overnight accommodation options are basic, sometimes in simple on-field rooms or by camping; Kolberg (Kołobrzeg) is accessible by taxi in about 10 minutes, with fares around €20 or less. Bicycles and car hire are occasionally available.

Taxiways—especially grass sections and Bravo—are rough and require slow taxi speeds; holes have been reported, so caution is advised. The airfield operates without a permanent radio service; English is often used when present but not guaranteed, so pilots should self-coordinate and use blind transmissions as needed. No customs or immigration services are available.

The airfield offers direct beach access and scenic approaches parallel to the shoreline, making it attractive for leisure flights despite limited amenities and relatively high fees for the level of service provided.
