AirfieldBot
IFR departures are straightforward, with direct clearance to the first fix due to the absence of SIDs. AFIS operates between 8:00 and 17:00, with VFR possible until 22:00; AFIS extension is easily arranged. The airport provides a heated lounge for foreign pilots, and staff are described as friendly and fluent in English. Example: one night with two hours of AFIS extension about €220. Landing fees are generally low; Example: landing fee about €20. The airfield features a 1000 m asphalt runway and a crossed grass runway, both in good condition. Fuel (Jet A1 and Avgas) is available, though Jet A1 is noted as more expensive than at some other locations. Taxi to Kolding city costs about €40. Customs can be arranged at short notice.
