Customs and Avgas are available, with Avgas supplied by Avirom on 24 hours’ notice. The airport is operated by Menzies, who respond quickly to email. Example: landing, handling, and one night’s parking about €130. Example: fuel stop about €60; direct international departures incur an additional fuel surcharge of about €50. Taxis to the city are available just outside the terminal, with a typical fare to the city about 25 RON. There is a pilots’ lounge with drinking water but no WiFi. The runway and apron have been expanded to accommodate more traffic. Winds can be rough due to the location.
