ATC and airport staff are friendly and helpful. Immigration and payment procedures are quick when no airline flights are in progress. A slot form is available on the airport website and should be emailed to slot@bnx.aero, as the address on the form itself is incorrect; actual landing and departure times can deviate from the slot without issue. Some reports indicate a slot is no longer required, but procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
Landing, handling, and parking fees are low. Example: landing about €10, handling about €10, parking about €5 per day. Payment can be made in Bosnian Mark, Euro, or by credit card.
Parking is available on grass if needed. Walking between aircraft and terminal is straightforward. Free WiFi is available; pilots can request a password for internal WiFi if needed. Transport to Banja Luka is possible by minibus for about €5, or by taxi for about €20; walking 4 km to the nearby village of Laktasi is also possible, though traffic can be heavy.
