Kladno Airport (LKKL)

Surrounded by the Ruzne CTR, LKKL operates with controlled airspace constraints; circuit altitude is limited to 2500 ft due to the TMA. Runway 12 has a noticeable uphill slope. English is spoken on the radio, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Opening hours depend on the local flying school’s schedule, sometimes extending to sunset. The town of Kladno is about 40 minutes away on foot via a pleasant forest path; from there, Prague can be reached in about one hour. No on-field restaurant or café. Example: landing fee about 100 CZK. Intense gliding activity occurs, and there is no public transport nearby.
