Runway is in very good condition. Landing fees are low; Example: landing fee about €10. Staff is friendly and helpful. A pilot lounge with free WiFi is available, and a briefing room with internet access exists. No restaurant on the field, but a restaurant is about 30 minutes on foot, and a lake suitable for bathing is within short walking distance. Fuel payment and landing fees are handled in separate offices. Extended opening times are available for a fee. A large flight training organization operates on site, along with aircraft and avionics manufacturers. The airport is within walking distance of the city center (about 4–5 km).
