Gave it a try today as well. Long, narrow runway with a slight downhill on RWY 31. Very friendly people at the field, but otherwise there’s nothing nearby except the aforementioned cave. No landing fee.

Runway 13-31 is hard-surfaced, 700 by 18 meters, curved and sloped; runway 11-29 is grass. The airfield is described as a bit tricky, with turbulence from surrounding hills on windy days. No landing or parking fees. PPR by phone is possible but not always required. There is no restaurant on site, but staff are friendly and helpful. The Skocjan caves are a notable nearby attraction, about 45 minutes on foot.
