Landing and departure are straightforward, with an 800 m asphalt runway in very good condition. Parking for overnight stays is on grass, while short stops use asphalt spots. No landing or parking fees. PPR is handled by email and confirmed quickly, though it is not strictly required. The airfield sometimes operates on air-to-air frequency; on weekends, there is circuit training by the club’s flight school. Fuel is available only for club aircraft; Avgas is not available for visitors, but can be found at Reggio Emilia (LIDE). The airfield is closed on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays. Taxi to Modena city center takes about 20 minutes and costs around €40; taxi to Hotel Le Ville is about €20. Hotel Le Ville offers rental bicycles and good access to city tours and local attractions such as balsamico and parmesan producers. The Ferrari Museum in Maranello is accessible by taxi for about €40. Staff are friendly and helpful, with English spoken over the radio.
Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM. For PPR or information, contact +39-059-389090 or fax +39-059-388021.
