Civil Airfield L Aquila / Preturo (LIAP)

Landed there Summer 2025. Another Italian aviation gem! Very nice GA airfield, with Avgas and unleaded Mogas available (paid by credit card). Landing/parking fees negligible. Taxi to downtown L'Aquila about 20 minutes. Beware of high elevation/density alt., glider towing operations (do not overfly gliders too low while they wait on the runway threshold) and high terrain surrounding the airport.

Nice airfield in L'Aquila with a great restaurant on site. Avgas, Mogas and Jet A1 are available. Very relaxed atmosphere and close to the town center.
