Civil Airfield Chelles Le Pin (LFPH)

Chelles Le Pin (LFPH) features a grass runway that can be rough in both directions. Approaches from the east are best flown at 1,000–1,400 ft to avoid Charles-de-Gaulle airspace; Paris FIS is recommended due to restrictive altitude limits. When landing on wet grass, land firmly at the start of the runway without floating; sliding is possible if speed is too high. If there is no radio response, overfly to check the windsock at the runway intersection for wind direction and make blind transmissions in English or French. AVGAS is available but requires a club card or cash via a club member. No landing fees are charged, though a donation to the club’s coffee fund is appreciated.
