Civil Airfield Montagne Noire (LFMG)

LFMG offers a 900m runway with a stony taxiway leading to grass parking. IFR arrivals are handled via Montpellier Méditerranée, with descent to leave controlled airspace once the field is in sight. Radio calls are self-announced in French, as the control tower is unmanned. The airfield hosts crop dusters, microlights, autogyros, and a flying club. Avgas is available by prior arrangement; payment by AIR card or cash only (contact: 06 23 67 45 87, fax: 04 67 29 55 68). The on-field restaurant Le Looping (06 99 36 95 94) offers an airport car for rent at €40 per day for up to 100 km. No landing or parking fees apply. The field is described as restricted use in the AIP but welcomes visitors.
