Dole Tavaux Airport (LFGJ)

LFGJ offers IFR and VFR procedures with a long runway, ILS, LPV, and other approaches. Both ATC and ground staff communicate clearly in English and are described as friendly and efficient. The airport is suitable for quick stops, customs, and refueling; customs is available with prior notice (PPR), typically via email to cli-lyon@douane.finances.gouv.fr. Facilities for GA are basic but functional: toilets are accessible on foot, a drinks/snack vending machine is present, and a café/restaurant operates only when commercial flights are scheduled. Parking is straightforward, with chocks and tie-down weights provided on request. Taxis can be arranged by staff; a taxi to Dole costs €20–25. Europcar can deliver rental cars to the airport with key collection at the information desk.
