LEOC is a VFR airfield about 25 miles south of Madrid, with significant parachuting activity and frequent glider operations. The airfield is privately owned and has been sold to a parachute group; powered aircraft operations are no longer available. The motor circuit is to the north. BP fuel is available, and BP credit cards are accepted, but fuel service may pause for up to two hours during lunch. There is a good on-field restaurant or tapas bar. The Madrid TMA starts 1,000 feet above the field. Closing flight plans requires calling Cuatro Vientos (LECU) by phone; staff speak only Spanish, so closing in the air by radio may be advisable. If approaching from Toledo, do not confuse the runway with nearby abandoned developments.
