Bodø Airport has a 2800m runway and accommodates both VFR and IFR operations. General aviation parking is at one end of the apron with a dedicated entrance, where security can call a taxi. PPR may be required for VFR GA, especially during construction or special events; check NOTAMs and the AIP for current procedures. Displaced thresholds and interim approaches are in use due to ongoing airport restructuring, which may not be reflected in all databases.
Avgas is available via self-service pump with card payment, though occasional maintenance or supply issues have occurred. Fuel receipts may not always print. Parking is close to the apron exit, and access to the aircraft is typically straightforward with minimal security checks. There is no need to visit the main terminal or ARO for GA departures.
Facilities include a kiosk landside; the main restaurant is airside and not accessible without passing security. ATC is described as cooperative and helpful. Example: landing and terminal fee about NOK 290. Procedures vary; see AIP/NOTAM.
