Nice airfield in a nice area. Usually un-manned. Grass runway is a bit bumpy but still okay. Bicycles available. No fixed fees, but everyone is welcome to leave an adequate amount. Easy ride into the nice town, a bit sleepy. Camping on-site allowed, toilets available.

EKNB is a well-maintained grass airfield operated by a local club, with a 666 m x 30 m runway. The airfield is known for its welcoming atmosphere, with visitors often greeted with coffee and cake. Camping on the field is allowed, and there are four bicycles available free of charge. No landing or parking fees are charged; contributions to the coffee fund are appreciated. A weekly summer grill evening is held on Thursdays from 17:00 for a small fee per person plus drinks. The beach is within walking distance (about 500 meters), though the nearby beach may be less clean than others in the area. The airfield can be used under "Kleiner Grenzverkehr" without a flight plan, for example via Flensburg. Runway 24 has a slight uphill slope from the midpoint and can experience turbulence from the woods in crosswind conditions. Visitors are welcome, and German is widely spoken as a second language.
