Civil Airfield Bohmte Bad Essen (EDXD)

Well-maintained grass runway and friendly, helpful staff create a welcoming atmosphere for visiting pilots. The airfield hosts an open house or airshow event every 1st of May, with good food available from stands during the event. Caution is advised when approaching from the south due to the Wiehengebirge ridge, which is at approximately the same elevation as the circuit altitude of 700 ft. Facilities are basic, with no permanent café or restaurant reported outside of events.
