Civil Airfield Grabenstetten (EDSG)

Grabenstetten (EDSG) is a club-operated airfield with a long grass runway, suitable for powered aircraft after prior telephone arrangement (PPR required). The runway is generally in good condition but can be soft after rain, slightly uphill and uneven in the 30 direction, and somewhat bumpy overall. Pilots must avoid overflying nearby villages on approach and should remain vigilant for significant glider and paraglider activity, especially in good weather. Caution is advised when taxiing due to stakes near the runway edges.

A small restaurant or clubhouse is available on site, typically open except during special circumstances. Mogas is available. Overnight accommodation may be possible by arrangement with the club. The location is well-suited for hiking in the surrounding Swabian Jura region.
