Civil Airfield Linkenheim (EDRI)

Airfield located near the Rhine, primarily used for gliding, with powered flight possible but subject to PPR. Contact can be unreliable as staff may not answer the phone even during operating hours. Runway is generally flat but prone to waterlogging in winter and spring, with occasional wet patches and poorly visible markings. No landing fee. Two fish restaurants are within walking distance on Insel Rott. Linkenheim is about 2 km away, offering tram access to Karlsruhe.
