An entry permit for Tunisia is required and can be obtained through specialized agents such as Flight Service Int'l or ATAC. Handling is not mandatory but very helpful, especially due to local bureaucracy and longer processing times; allow at least 2 hours for the payment process prior to departure. Landing and parking fees are low; overall pricing is favorable. Example: landing and parking fees for two nights about €30; handling via FAST about €110; other air navigation service charges about €100. JET A1 is available; Avgas is generally not available and must, if needed, be ordered well in advance. Numerous security personnel on the GA apron; military processing possible. ATC is straightforward to work with and uses understandable English. Taxis are available opposite the hotel, but not always directly at the stand. Strong crosswinds occur frequently, mostly laminar.
